The best thing about memories is making them!

Stefanie Viëtor is a Dutch artist, inspired by Italy and it’s culture. Trying to look beyond its pizza’s and scooters, she aims to incorporate into her work what in her view represents the ‘real Italy’, creating images of beautifully designed Italian foodpackaging (often of longstanding Italian brands) or other iconic Italian products.

Furthermore, Stefanie loves to reinvoke memoires by painting personalised House Portraits and Memory Drawings, using ink and watercolor.

Before embarking on her creative journey, she has completed several masters in Law (after which she worked worked as lawyer in a large international firm in Amsterdam and London) and has earned a degree in Child Therapy (after which she ran a private practice in child therapy in Haarlem for over a decade.) In this third career, she decided to dedicate herself full time to her passion of painting.

Stefanie lives in Haarlem, the Netherlands, with her husband and 2 daughters, and spends a lot of her time in her family home in Stresa (Laga Maggiore, Italy) or near Cortona (Tuscany, Italy), where as of September 2023 the renovation of their new home has started.
